How I built 10 companies in under 5 years

Taking my first contract

Hey wonderful human,

As we step into the reality of actualizing our visions we are stepping into what i believe to be a spiritual experience and growth path.

It is not easy, and you will be faced with various challenges as you move along.

But the truth is most of the time YOU getting in your own way is the greatest challenge and obstacle.

I remember sitting with a friend I met in high school.

As per usual I was telling him how he should start to work for himself.

If you’ve ever met me personally you know our convo usually ends up here.

Anyways he shared how I could do it because I, somehow knew more than he did.

That is was easy for me to go on my own because I knew what I was doing.

In that present moment, he was correct, but only because I had the confidence to do it from the start.

I had to confidence to try something and learn from it, even if that meant failing.

The key to how I have done what I am doing/have done is confidence.

As we unpack this further we realize that our lack of trying is most often one of the key pieces that stops us from getting anywhere.

I politely shared with my friend, “Man, I have no clue what I am doing, but I am ballsy enough to just do it and learn along the way”.

His face was priceless…

Now for many of us, this runs deep.

Many already struggle with feeling worthy so why would we throw ourselves into what seems like guaranteed failure?

  1. You already are worthy even if you haven’t remembered that yet

  2. Failure isn’t negative it is the most powerful learning experience on this planet

  3. Failure is the cheat sheet to success

I have taken on tasks, projects, and companies that in all honesty i had no clue how I was going to do it or figure it out.

Ranging from building a house to consulting on a public company, to learning the business aspects of retail.

But even though I still do have moments that test my confidence.

I am willing to launch myself forward into the unknown even if that means failing because I know the learning & lessons pay dividends.

Here is the practical step you can follow when confidence is needed most:

  1. Self-check my WHY ~ If the why isn’t strong, you won’t have the energy to get me through

  2. Checking my values

  3. Checking to make sure there is no physical/harm damage

  4. Writing down and pros and cons list

  5. Taking the task, project, or company and creating bit-sized priority steps you need to take

  6. Just fucking start, do a little bit each day, and build momentum

Doing the work to build your confidence is key in this path.

If you do not find the confidence to build, you will spend unnecessary time in your mind space wondering how overthinking what if…

Cut the mental chatter, you might not feel ready, and just start.

Be willing to fail.

Be brave enough to learn from your failures and keep going.

You might know that I am in the creation lab building a course that is going to help people actualize their visions, and with this, a community of epic humans from around the world will be formed.

In the meantime, if you are curious about the fundamentals of self-mastery, I created a 30-day course which is only 10 mins per day and gives you everything I know about how to set yourself up to have a strong foundation.

Have an epic week fellow humans.
